Today’s government IT leaders have been challenged to simultaneously increase cybersecurity, consolidate data centers, implement cloud infrastructure and applications, protect the environment with Green IT, and continuously improve mission support for their organizations. Agency leadership must think strategically to meet these demands in the face of funding cuts, a shortage of skilled IT workers, and increasing security threats. During this keynote panel, we will hear from government leaders who will share their experiences and lessons learned on how innovation in areas such as strategic planning, acquisition, technology implementation, and partnerships have helped them build more successful and secure organizations.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the linkages between the administration’s policies and how security can be assured in a decentralized, cloud-based IT model
  • Understand best practices for creating a culture of innovation, managing risk, and making smart IT procurement decisions
  • Learn how to prioritize projects and leverage existing investments in order to achieve security during the current climate of limited resources
